Comply With Pulp Mill Residue Restrictions in Your Waste Chips

Repulpable log tags are designed to be completely acceptable by pulp mills when mixed in with your sawmill's waste chips. This means that you don't have to spend valuable time removing tags from log ends before they are milled. Simply scan the barcode on the tag or record the tracking numbers for your records before processing and leave the tag attached to the log.

Accepted by Kraft and Sulfite Mills

It doesn't matter if you sell your chips to a Kraft (Sulfate) Mill or a Sulfite Mill....these tags will break down into completely acceptable pulp fiber. This is possible because the base material used to make these tags is comprised of paper fibers. It is then chemically treated to be 'wet strength' so that it does not fall apart when it gets wet...so it holds up well in outdoor conditions. Varnished for Protection

In order to add some level of protection to the printed image, consecutive barcodes and numbers, we apply a clear varnish that completely seals the surface of the repulpable log tag. This varnish is specially formulated to also be acceptable by the pulp mills. So no matter what the weather and conditions...rain, snow, mud, dirt, dust...you can rest assured that the integrity of your barcodes and numbers are completely protected. If needed, simply wipe off the surface of the log tag to remove any residue and you'll be able to scan the barcode without fail.

We Offer Two Repulpable Materials to Choose From:

1. 10pt Wet Strength - economically priced but rather thin at 0.010" thick with a shorter lifespan
2. 13pt Wet Strength - more durable and heavier at 0.013" thick
